Every feature ships on both plans — there's nothing hidden behind a higher tier. The only difference is expected usage: pick Personal for everyday home and study use, or Professional for heavier, all-day work.

If you're a state vocational rehab agency, university disability office, employer accommodation programme, or non-profit serving blind users, please reach out directly. We offer pilot pricing for organisations buying 10 or more seats, and we can work with Section 508 / ADA procurement processes.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a credit card required for the free trial?
Two reasons. First, requiring a card eliminates almost all spam signups, which means we can give every real user a real founder reply. Second, the trial converts to a paid month automatically on day 4 — so you never have to remember to "upgrade" mid-workflow. Forgetting the upgrade was a top complaint with our previous no-card trial.
You can cancel any time during the 3 days and the card is never charged.
When does my trial end?
Exactly 3 days (72 hours) after you complete the signup checkout. You'll receive an email reminder 24 hours before the trial ends, and another the day before. If you cancel before that point, your card is not charged and your access ends at the trial cutoff.
What's the difference between Personal ($55) and Professional ($90)?
Features are identical — every plan includes everything Darvy does, with no per-action metering. The difference is expected usage. Personal ($55/month) is sized for students, home use, and everyday tasks. Professional ($90/month) has the headroom for heavy, all-day, workplace-intensive use. The price covers the LLM, transcription, and text-to-speech infrastructure that powers Darvy's voice loop. If you're on Personal and consistently push past its usage range, we'll reach out about Professional before anything is throttled.
What's your refund policy?
If Darvy doesn't work for you, email support@darvy.ai within 30 days of your first paid charge and we'll refund the most recent month, no questions asked. After 30 days, refunds are decided case-by-case — usually yes, especially if you found a bug we hadn't fixed.
Are there educational, non-profit, or low-income discounts?
Yes. We offer 50% off for students with a valid school email and for individuals who can demonstrate financial hardship. Non-profits serving blind / visually impaired users qualify for institutional pricing — usually lower per-seat than retail. Email contact@darvy.ai with your situation and we'll get you set up.
Can I pay annually for a discount?
Not yet. We may add an annual option once the product is more mature; for now, monthly is the only billing cycle. If you want to pre-pay for a year as a vote of confidence, email us directly.
Where is my payment information stored?
Payments are processed by Polar, a PCI-compliant merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. See our security page for more.
Can I install Darvy on more than one computer?
Yes. Your license covers any number of personal devices that you, the licensed user, operate. We don't share-block. If you want family members or coworkers to use Darvy with their own voice profiles, they should get their own seats so each person gets their own tuning.
